The purpose of this study was to investigate perceptions of professional volleyball stadiums. A mixed-methods approach was employed, with big data analysis as the primary method of analysis and focus group interviews as the secondary method. By utilizing data derived from big data analysis as well as insights obtained from focus group interviews regarding spectators' personal experiences and opinions, the study aimed to provide foundational data for practical marketing strategies utilizing professional volleyball stadiums and for the revitalization of professional volleyball. Research findings revealed the following: Firstly, factors such as indoor dating during the winter season, experiencing the victory of one's favorite team firsthand, the popularity of professional volleyball, and opportunities for interactions such as obtaining autographs or taking photographs with favorite players were identified. Secondly, aspects unique to professional volleyball stadiums such as the atmosphere of the venue, supporting local teams, ease of accessibility, various events, and the friendliness of on-site staff were extracted. Thirdly, issues such as limited food variety, inadequate merchandise shops, narrow seating, obstructed views from certain seats, and parking shortages were identified. Therefore, it is considered that establishing an unconventional dating spot utilizing the professional volleyball stadium and utilizing the unique features of the professional volleyball stadium to enhance the enjoyment of the spectators will be effective. Improvements in food options, merchandise shops, seating, and parking lots are necessary to activate professional volleyball effectively.
