This study is a study to analyze the relationship between restrictions on leisure activities, participation in physical sports, and subjective feelings of happiness of athletic college students due to COVID-19. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, physical education college students from four-year universities located in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do were selected as the population, and a total of 193 (97%) data were collected through random sampling and self-evaluation for the survey. It was used as the final analysis data. For the collected questionnaire data, logistic regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, factor analysis, and path analysis were performed using the SPSS 17.0 program. The analyzed research results are as follows. First, leisure constraints due to COVID-19 have a statistically significant effect on the participation experience in sports for all. Second, leisure constraints due to COVID-19 have a statistically significant effect on the degree of participation in sports for all. Third, leisure constraints due to COVID-19 have a statistically significant effect on subjective happiness. Fourth, leisure constraints due to COVID-19 have a causal effect on participation in sports for all and subjective happiness. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a plan to seek and support leisure activities and sports participation so that subjective happiness through participation in sports-related college students in daily life such as COVID-19 can continue.
