긍정심리학의 관점에서 바라본 은퇴선수의 행복 요인 분석
연구의 목적은 긍정심리학의 차원에서 은퇴한 운동 선수의 행복요인은 어떤 것이 있으며, 어떤 행복요인이 은퇴한 선수들에게 더 큰 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 하는 것이었다. 이에 은퇴한 운동선수 195명의 설문 응답 결과를 본 연구 에 활용하였다. 첫째, 행복지수와 9가지 차원(삶의 만족도, 긍정적/부정적 감정, 건강 관리, 활력, 자존감, 성격 성장, 우호적 관계, 이타 적 행동)이 서로 관계가 있었다. 둘째, 은퇴한 선수들의 평균 행복지수는 6.17, 표준편차는 1.68, 최고점은 9점, 최저점은 1점으로 나타났다. 셋째, 은퇴한 운동선수는 건강에 대한 행복지수가 가장 높았으며, 부정적인 감정이 가장 낮았다. 넷째, 은퇴한 운동선수의 행복 영향력의 크기는 활력 > 자기 가치 > 성격 성장 > 삶의 만족도 > 우호적 관계 = 건강 관심 > 이타적 행동 > 긍정적 감정 > 부정적 감정 순으로 나타났다.
Analyzing Happiness Factors in Retired Athletes from the Perspective of Positive Psychology
The purpose of this study was to explore the factors contributing to the happiness of retired athletes from the perspective of positive psychology and to identify which happiness factors have a greater impact on retired athletes. First, the study found that the happiness index had relationships with nine dimensions: life satisfaction, positive/negative emotions, health management, vitality, self-esteem, personality growth, friendly relationships, and altruistic behavior. Second, the average happiness index of retired athletes was 6.17, with a standard deviation of 1.68. The highest score was 9 points, while the lowest score was 1 point. Third, retired athletes scored highest in the happiness index related to health and exhibited the lowest levels of negative emotions. Fourth, the study revealed the relative impact of happiness factors on retired athletes in the following order: vitality, self-esteem, personality growth, life satisfaction, friendly relationships & health management, altruistic behavior, positive emotions,negative emotions. Prior research has demonstrated the remarkable impact of positive psychology on improving people's happiness. The engagement of positive psychology principles can positively influence the happiness of retired athletes.
