스포츠이벤트 개최지역 이미지, 관여도, 스포츠관광, 지역발전 간의 구조 관계 : 구이저우성(贵州省) 농촌 농구리그 “촌(村)BA”를 중심으로
본 연구는 2022년에 진행된 중국 농촌농구리그 '촌BA'를 중심으로 개최지역 이미지가 이벤트 관여도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고 구이저우성 지역과 '촌BA' 스포츠 이벤트에 최소 1번 이상 직관한 경험이 있는 20세 이상의 성인 남녀를 연구대상으로 이벤트 관여도가 지역발전 및 스포츠관광에 장기적으로 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대한 분석하였 다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 26.0 및 AMOS 24.0 프로그램를 활용하여 통계 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠 이벤트의 개최지역 이미지는 이벤트 관여도에 대해 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이벤트 관여도는 스포츠 관광에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠관광과 지역발전 사이에서도 긍정적 이며 통계적으로 유의한 영향관계가 있음이 확인되어, 가설 3이 채택되었다. 넷째, 이벤트 관여도가 지역 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였고, 이 결과로 가설 4 또한 채택되었다. 다섯째, 이벤트 관여도가 지역발전에 미치는 직접적 영향은 2.136, 스포츠관광을 통한 간접적 영향은 2.832로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 제언하 면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이벤트의 질 향상 측면에서 참가자의 경험은 이벤트의 성공에 있어 중추적인 역할을 한다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 스포츠 관광 패키지 마케팅의 관점에서 볼 때, 스포츠 이벤트와 연계된 테마 여행 패키지는 관광객들에게 독특한 경험의 기회를 제공한다는 것이 확인되었다. 셋째, 스포츠 이벤트 개최지역은 지속 가능한 발전 전략의 중요성을 강조하여 친환경적 접근법은 이벤트의 지속 가능한 성공에 있어서 결정적인 요소로 작용한다는 것이 확인되어야 한다.
Structural Relationships among Sports Event Host Region Image, Event Participation, Sports Tourism, and Regional Development : A Case Study of the Guizhou Rural Basketball League ‘ChunBA’
This study examined how the image of the host region affects event involvement, focusing on the Chinese rural basketball league 'Chon BA' conducted in 2022, and analyzed how event involvement has a long-term effect on regional development and sports tourism with adult men and women over 20 years of age who have viewed the 'Chon BA' sports events at least once. Statistical analysis was performed on the collected data using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 24.0 programs. First, it was found that the image of the host region of a sports event had a positive effect on event involvement. Second, it was found that event involvement had a positive effect on sports tourism. Third, hypothesis 3 was adopted as it was confirmed that there was a positive and statistically significant influence relationship between sports tourism and regional development. Fourth, it was confirmed that event involvement had a positive effect on regional development, and as a result, hypothesis 4 was also adopted. Fifth, it was confirmed that the direct effect of event involvement on regional development was 2.136, and the indirect effect through sports tourism was 2.832. From the perspective of improving the quality of the event, it was found that the participants' experience plays a pivotal role in the event's success. Considering the marketing of sports tourism packages, theme travel packages linked with sports events offer unique experience opportunities for tourists.
