老莊思想에 비춰본 체육ㆍ스포츠철학 : 스포츠 아마추어리즘과 관련하여
현대 스포츠의 화제는 누가 기록갱신을 했느냐 혹은 누가 연봉이 더 많은가가 관심거리이다. 이러한 시대에 체육․ 스포츠 철학을 이야기하면 일반 사람들은 웃을 것이다. 아마 크게 웃을 것이다. 『道德經』은 일반 사람들이 크게 웃지 않 으면 道가 아니라고 하였다. 老子와 莊子의 思想은 『道德經』과 『莊子』에서 찾을 수 있다. 『道德經』과 『莊子』는 無爲自 然을 주장한다. 老莊은 타인을 의식하는 명예보다 자기 자신의 自由와 遊戱를 중요하게 여긴다. 따라서 자신의 페이스에 맞게, 때로는 멈추고, 때로는 쉬어 가면서 자연스럽게 모든 것을 즐기라고 한다. 老莊은 결과보다 과정을 중시하며, 승리 보다 참여하는데 더 의의를 둔다. 이것은 과거, 스포츠 아마추어리즘과 닮았다. 老莊思想과 아마추어리즘은 체육･스포 츠 철학에 적용하면 理想論에 가깝다. 老莊思想을 체육･스포츠 철학에 그대로의 수용은 不可하지만 결코 폄하하거나 무시할 수 없는 체육･스포츠 철학의 道와 德이다.
A Study of Philosophy of Physical Education and Sports in the Idealism of Laotzu and Chuangtzu : In the Relation of Sports Amateurism
When we talk 'physical education and philosophy of sports' in this age, ordinary people will laugh. Maybe they laugh out loud because contemporary sports is focused on the 'who break the new record?' or 'who get the more salary?'. Tao Te Ching (Taoism) said that it was not 'Do(道)' if ordinary people did not laugh. The main ideas of Laotzu and Chuangtzu could be found in Tao Te Ching(道德經) and Zhuangzi(莊子). Tao Te Ching(道德經) and Zhuangzi(莊子) insisted in 'Wu-wei-tzu-jan(無爲自然)'. Laotzu and Chuangtzu(老莊) considered their own freedom(自由) and pleasure(遊戱) rather than the honor of consciousness of others. People enjoyed their lifestyle. For instance, sometimes needed take a break, or take a rest, and keep up the pace in their life. Laotzu and Chuangtzu(老莊) emphasized that they were more concerned with the process than the result and more concerned with the participation than the victory. This idea had a similarity of past sports amateurism. Laotzu and Chuangtzu's ideas and amateurism was closed to idealism(理想論) which were applied to philosophy of PE and Sports. Laotzu and Chuangtzu's idealism maybe was not acceptable the philosophy of PE and Sports but can not be dismissed or ignored. Therefore it was 'Do(道)' and 'Dug(德)' in PE and Sports's philosophy.
