孔孟思想을 통해 본 體育學의 道 : 時代와 地域 間 疏通과 通涉을 위한 地平
근대 이후의 학문발전은 과학과 철학이 불균형을 이루었다. 특히 과학의 급속한 발전으로 휴머니즘에 다양한 문 제들이 발생하였다. 체육학에서, 예를 들면 4가지의 큰 문제점이 발생하였다. 첫째, 거대 자본주의와 흥행위주의 발달은 비인간적인 스포츠산업으로의 폐단을 가져왔다. 둘째, 체육과학에로의 치우친 의존은 과학과 인문학의 불균형을 가져 왔다. 셋째, 선수들의 일탈행위가 일반화되어 아마추어리즘과 스포츠맨십의 추락을 가져왔다. 넷째, 결과주의는 금지된 약물복용과 승부조작을 가져왔다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 동양철학에서 찾으려 한다. 특히, 수 천 년 동안 동양의 지배사상으로 존재하였던 儒家思想(孔孟)을 통해 지혜를 찾으려 한다. 孔孟思想은 동양의 아이덴티티이며, 또 한 휴머니즘을 확보하는데 큰 도움이 되기 때문이다. 孔孟思想에서 찾은 체육정신을 체육의 道라고 할 수 있다. 이것은 東西洋 疏通의 體育哲學=體育의 道가 될 것이다.
A Study on Dao(道) of Physical Education Reflected in Thoughts of Confucius and Mencius : Horizon for Communication and Consilience between the Ages and the Areas
The development of scholarship in the post modern era was imbalanced in science and philosophy. Especially, the rapid development of science has caused various problems in humanism For example, there are four major problems in physical education. First, the development of massive capitalism and box-office dominance led to inhuman sports industry Second, the biased dependence on physical science brought about the imbalance between science and humanities. Third, the athletes' deviations were generalized, resulting in the fall of amateurism and sportsmanship. Fourth, the resultant attention brought about the prohibition of medication and manipulation of the game. Therefore, we try to find out in oriental philosophy to solve these problems. In particular, we seek wisdom through the thoughts of Confucius and Mencius, which existed for thousands of years as the oriental ideology of the Orient. The idea of Confucius and Mencius is an identity of the Orient, and it is also a great help in securing humanism. The spirit of physical education found in the philosophy of Confucius and Mencius is called ‘Do(道) in physical education’. This will be the philosophy(Do=道) of physical education of communication in the East and the West
